A great cigar for the (UK!) price. Perfect draw, with excellent construction and a thick grey smoke that lasts the whole way through. Flavour profile is consistent with toast, nuts and a slight sweetness. Light pepper arrives in the final third. Overall you cant go wrong with The Bren, which I got to last around 45 min.
Looking wider, I am a big fan of the Trident brand and what the owners stand for. The pair that run it are incredibly bold, especially in a UK market with all the odds against the industry. However, I hope they persevere and wish them luck in the NY.
Great smoke at a fair (UK!) price. Excellent construction and consistent burn with lovely thick grey smoke. Flavour profile holds steady throughout with toast, nuts, hints of caramel and finally some pepper in the final third. Kept it going for 45min.
Enjoyable smoke, 40 minutes well sent. If you haven’t already tried the Bren, I’m recommending you to add this gem to your next to buy list. Best enjoyed with an opo or two.
